Mount Maroma.  From the villa one can walk for miles straight up into the Sierra Tejada National Park one way or take a four-minute walk down into the village the other.

Casa Beni stands alone in its own grounds,  surrounded by various terraces and raised high above the valley below, giving way to breathtaking views down towards the sea and beyond to the mountains of North Africa. Looking out behind the villa one sees open countryside reaching up to the foothills of

Two sets of french doors open from the living-room onto a spacious covered patio, where there is a mosaic table and chairs for 10 for eating al fresco. This opens up onto a very large terrace with a large gas BBQ.

The 7 x 4 metre swimming pool is set safely within its own gated terrace below and there are many sunbeds scattered around the various terraces to enjoy either the poolside, the shade or the sun. There are 3 large sunshades, which can be moved around the property to provide shade where it is needed most.

There is a ping-pong table and a basketball net on the terrace  and a petanque set, which we play with out on the adjoining plot.
